Which archive formats are supported?

Opening and extracting: ZIP, RAR (v4 and v5), 7-Zip, TAR, TAR.GZ/TGZ, GZIP, BZIP2, ISO, and CAB. Creating new archives: ZIP only, since RAR and 7-Zip compression require licensed, proprietary encoders that can't run client-side.

Can I extract just one file instead of the whole archive?

Yes. Click any file to preview it, then use its download button to extract just that one file — no need to extract everything.

Does it work with password-protected archives?

Yes, for encrypted ZIP and RAR files. Archive Opener detects the encryption automatically and prompts you for the password before listing or extracting contents.

Is there a file size limit?

There's no hard limit set by this tool, but very large archives are limited by your own device's available memory, since everything is processed locally rather than on a server.

Can I create a RAR or 7z file with this tool?

No — only ZIP creation is supported. RAR and 7-Zip use proprietary, licensed compression algorithms that cannot legally or technically be implemented for client-side archive creation.
