Frequently Asked Questions
What is plus-addressing?
Gmail ignores anything after a + in the address before the @ sign. So you+shopping@gmail.com and you+news@gmail.com both deliver to the exact same inbox as you@gmail.com — useful for tracking where signups come from, or filtering with rules.
Do these actually create new Gmail accounts?
No. Plus-addressed variations are not separate accounts — they all deliver to your one existing Gmail inbox. The "Custom Tags / Names" mode without a + generates a plain name@gmail.com address instead, for cases like drafting a list of addresses to check availability of elsewhere — this tool doesn't create or verify real accounts either way.
Are the generated passwords secure?
Yes — every password uses crypto.getRandomValues(), the browser's cryptographically secure random number generator, the same source used to generate real encryption keys.
Is anything sent to a server?
No. Every email and password is generated entirely in your browser and never transmitted anywhere.
