Where is my library stored?
Entirely in this browser's local storage (IndexedDB), on this device — never on a server. Clearing your browser data will remove your library, so keep the original files elsewhere too.
Does it remember where I stopped reading?
Yes — your scroll position is saved automatically as you read, and reopening a book takes you right back there. "Pin Page" additionally lets you save specific spots as named bookmarks you can jump back to anytime.
How accurate is the PDF/Word conversion?
Text content converts well; complex layouts (multi-column PDFs, heavy custom formatting) may reflow differently than the original, since the whole point is turning it into a reflowable, resizable, themeable reading view rather than a fixed-layout copy.
